West Highland Way & Activities

When staying at The Tyndrum Lodge, you’re spoilt for choice for ways to fill your day.  We’re in a great location between Perth, Stirling, Glasgow, Oban and Fort William and Tyndrum itself is the gateway to Glencoe and the Highlands of Scotland.

We’re also right on the famous West Highland Way walking route and The Tyndrum Lodge is right at the natural stop off point for an overnight stay.  With our great atmosphere, comfortable bedrooms and hearty food & drink we’re the perfect place to re-charge your batteries before setting off to finish the rest of the Way.

Of course, walking is not all that is available!  Glencoe ski centre is a mere 20 minutes drive away which offers a real rustic ski experience.  Rock, snow & ice climbing is also a popular pursuit with many locations available within 30 minutes from the hotel.

If sightseeing is more your thing, there are many wonderful and picturesque drives, towns, beaches, castles and viewpoints within a ½ day drive from the hotel.
